ABOUT STEFAN TISMINEZKY

Music is my life. I picked up the guitar at 10 years old and immediately fell in love. After a couple of years of private instruction, I went on to study classical and flamenco guitar at the Las Vegas Academy of Arts. During my time in high school, I discovered a new passion; electronic music production. I used my guitar playing to attend the Berklee College of Music, and then used my production chops to major in Electronic Music Production and Sound Design.

After I graduated from Berklee, I interned at Remote Control Productions where I learned a great amount on the art of film scoring. Following the internship, I began working in different studios in Los Angeles and eventually settled at Nightbird Recording Studios. After years of learning the ins and outs of music, I decided to pursue my career as an artist.

I’m professionally known as Stefan T. I don’t like to limit myself to any genre so I can explore the many expressions of different emotions. My style of production blends organic instruments with processed synthetic sounds. When it comes to lyrics, I like to write about what I know with a more abstract approach. I want to have my own meaning to my writing, but I also want the listener to have their own interpretation. At the end of the day, music is a very personal experience and I want my listeners to enjoy my music in their own way.

Having dealt with mental health issues in my past, music has become my therapy. The act of creating something from nothing and the end result having the possibility of lifting someone is why I do what I do. I want my music to heal, bring peace, bring joy, and let others know they are not alone.

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet and getting to know me.

Peace
